How to Live a Positive Life: A Personal Story!

Living a positive life is not always easy, especially when we face challenges, stress, or negativity from others or ourselves. However, I have learned that there are some simple ways to cultivate a positive mindset and attitude. Here are some tips that have worked for me:

I love reading, gardening, sudoku, painting, writing stories, travelling, and watching food channels. I am sharing a few tips, on how to live a positive life, based on my own experience and journey, that have worked for me, .

*Practice gratitude*- Gratitude is the act of appreciating what we have, rather than focusing on what we lack. I practice gratitude by writing down three things I am grateful for every day in my journal, expressing my thanks to my family, friends, and readers, or noticing the beauty and goodness around me in nature, art, or music.

*Choose positive thoughts*- Our thoughts have a powerful impact on our emotions and actions. I choose positive thoughts by challenging negative self-talk, affirming my strengths and values as an author and a person, or visualizing my goals and dreams of travelling the world and writing more books.

*Surround yourself with positive people*- The people we spend time with influence our mood, energy, and outlook. I surround myself with positive people by seeking out friends, family, or mentors who are optimistic, kind, and encouraging, and limiting contact with those who are pessimistic, rude, or discouraging.

*Do things that make you happy*- Happiness is not something that happens to us, but something that we create for ourselves. I do things that make me happy by pursuing my passions, hobbies, or interests such as reading books by my favorite authors, gardening in my backyard, solving sudoku puzzles in the newspaper, painting landscapes or portraits of people I admire, writing stories that express my imagination and creativity, travelling to new places or revisiting old ones that I love, and watching food channels that make me hungry and curious.

*Help others*- I try donating to a charity that I support such as animal welfare or children's education, or simply doing a favor or a kind gesture for someone in need such as helping a needy person with medicine, helping a neighbor with some applications or complimenting a stranger on their smile.

Living a positive life is a life-style process that requires our awareness and effort. By following these tips, I have cultivated a positive mindset and attitude that have helped me face challenges with optimism and resilience.
